🌿 From Nurse to Suds - My journey

I'm Aramide, a registered nurse, clinical educator turned organic soap artisan, and founder of Nourish with Butters—a handcrafted organic soap line born from my love of healing, nature, and intentional living.

For years, I walked hospital halls in scrubs, caring for patients with precision and heartfelt compassion. But somewhere between the sterile lights and the discharge protocols, I found myself craving something more grounded—something that spoke to the senses, the soul, and the earth. And somewhere along the way, I felt a quiet pull—toward nature, toward ritual, and toward a different kind of healing.

That’s when I fell in love with botanicals.

That pull led me to plants. To oils, clays, and butters. To the alchemy of cold-process soap-making, where science meets soul. I began blending ingredients the way I once blended care plans—with the same care I once gave to IV lines and wound dressings. Intentionally. Holistically. And with deep respect for the body’s wisdom.

Nourish with Butters was born from that transformation. Each product is a reflection of my dual worlds: the clinical and the botanical. Every bar I create is a fusion of clinical insight and natural wisdom—gentle enough for sensitive skin, yet rich in ritual and intention.
